My life is dull. Really. If there wasn't Stargate, I'd just sit in my corner with a blanket over my head.
Turnabout is fair play.

whoa! this is... actually, i'm not sure what this is. hot, certainly. interesting role reversal. extremely well written, definitely. a great sequel, and i'm looking forward to the next part. :)
"Even more frightening was the knowledge that what really aroused Sheppard was the thought that maybe he couldn’t trust Rodney, that perhaps Rodney might be tempted or driven so far out of control as to hurt Sheppard badly. Even, maybe, kill him." wow, that was amazing! really, really amazing! exceptionally well written, too, making john's submission actually believable, and not turning bdsm into a violent cliché. and the way rodney slowly gets into this, very in character.
i especially loved the end, where you manage to give them a relationship that isn't all "but now he got it out of his system and all's hearts and flowers", but actually working in the context of your story.
i really don't have the words to tell you how much i love this. also, whoa, hot! thank you very much for sharing!
By Saturday night, John is already checking his voice mail so often that Aiden gets jumpy and threatens to move out.

Spoilers for the hive and lost boys.
Mckay thoughts after what happend to him in the hive.

wow. this is depressing. and i can see how rodney would doubt himself like that, poor thing. :( which makes this even more depressing. *sigh*
John thinks about the trust that he places in Rodney. This is the first story in a series that will eventually be McKay/Sheppard

"After Duranda, I said that you would have to earn my trust back, and you don’t have to anymore." That sentence made me flinch. It's the "anymore", I guess. Other than that, I liked this.
Author's Response: Actually, that sentence bothered me too but I couldn't figure out why. You're right, it's the anymore. Thanks for noticing! It helps me when people comment on things like that.
It annoyed Rodney that even shivering and partially blue, John was still the most endearing human being he'd ever come across.

*lol* this is cute. very funny. and i like your summary-sentence. :)
Author's Response: Thanks... I was tossing up between that and the 'bad porn movie' line... heh
Rodney comes to a realisation. Post "The Hive".

i enjoyed reading this. especially the not-interaction between rodney and john, and rodney's anger. very interesting story. :)
Chapter 4: Modern Hymns: Resolution
"Twenty-six, forty-eight, sixty-five, finally at the seventy-eighth hour, Rodney could no longer keep his eyes open."

this is really, really, really sad, and i hate you! no, seriously, i love this. great fic, honestly. :)
Author's Response: Yay! I made someone hate me!! ;) Glad you liked it though, I know death fic isn't everyone's cuppa tea. Many thanks for the FB!
it...Rodney edged closer, snagging the bottle back for a quick drink before answering. "Enormous, as in, extraordinarily large," he giggled again, "like my intellect now that I think about it. Enormous as in vast, immense, and no doubt bigger than yours."

i was cackling like a hyena by the time rodney called his dick "the beast", but it just got better and better. great story, thanks for sharing!
Author's Response: thanks so much, I had a blast writing it! (and Rodney would totally have an obnoxious name for his dick)

i loved magus_minor's original story, and i absolutely adored every sequel so far, each of its own right. and like the other authors, you did a wonderful job writing your own unique take on how it could have continued. you make both rodney and john absolutely believable, characterization down par in their differing needs. you managed to turn something potentially awful into something beautiful, and i especially liked the separation between the torture, non-con part and the easy, loving companionship that follows. basically, what i mean to say is "very well done, and thank you so much for sharing". :)
He was really going to have to get back on the blowjob project though. It was not a comforting thought to think that sex was suddenly less important than it used to be just because people like Kavanagh were around.

heh. i already read this on lj, and i want to say that i really, really like it. very much. :)

i adore this story, i really do. i can't even begin to imagine how much work you two must have put into this, with each chapter so long and so well laid out, all the characters lost in their own mostly hopeless situations and still distinguishing them enough that they're recognizable even if you don't read the names. i don't like elizabeth, though. which is completely not your fault, i just don't like her. still, this is a beautiful piece of work, and i can hardly wait to see where you take it. thank you for sharing! :)
Author's Response: It's okay to not like Elizabeth, you know. In canon or this story (personally I want to slap her sometimes in both). She isn't supposed to completely likable in this. Like most human beings who aren't saints (and who is?), she has serious faults - sometimes she succumbs to them, sometimes she rises above them. In the end, she pays a terrible price for both and you'll get to decide whether she's right or wrong, whether to hate her, respect her, or just pity her.
Chapter 6: 6/36 - Lachesis
Atlantis comes to love Rodney, and so does Sheppard: a romantic shmoop fest.

*rofl* yeah, right. i can't see that thing being afraid of anything, but hey... elizabeth should just go check it out for herself. ;)
John was muttering about governments and secrets, and saying in a torn, horrified voice: clones, Rodney, clones.

this is "the island", isn't it? :) which makes this all the more painful to read. very well done.
Author's Response: I think I mentioned that on my LJ (that it was "heavily inspired" by The Island) and forgot to mention it here. And thank you.
