But the most important lesson it taught was that war wasn't personal. Like everything else, Pegasus had turned this idea topsy-turvy. Wow, very intense. Each snippet packs its own punch, but I like the one where Rodney continues John's list the best. The idea of taking over a dead friend's burden is lovely, if painful. Thank you for sharing.

Nice! I like how John's team fought to make him cope with his condition and keep him on Atlantis. :)

Author's Response: Thank you! Writing for R and J is so much fun I often give short shrift to the other characters; I really wanted more \'screen time\' for them in this story.

Summary: A misconception on Carson's part has John and Rodney playing roles to try and help their friend and colleague regain his balance after a traumatic event.

Summary: As punishment for breaking a cultural taboo, Rodney is sentenced to death in a virtual reality of his own making. Can John help him find his way back to reality before it's too late?

This is lovely. I like the reality Rodney's created for himself, and John's attempts to figure out how to get him out of there. The whole concept of the VR works really well in this, and of course the happy ending and the angst before are icing on the cake. *g* Very well done!
