Summary: John didn't want to be special. He just wanted to be left alone.

Hmmm, yes, Rainbow Man. That's an interesting universe that you've made. I like what you did with this story. Thanks for doing.
Author's Response: Thank you very much, glad you liked! :D
Chapter 1: With Wings So Bright They Burn
Rodney's power was both wonderful and dangerous, for himself more than anyone.

Very interesting beginning. Will like to see more with John's side of things, or the past, or anything really.
To one Dr. Rodney McKay, John Sheppard is unforgettable.

Aargh! I was going to wait until this story was finished before reading it, but now I've been sucked in, and am desperately hoping for more. The story surprised me at the beginning & went a totally different way than I was expecting & I'm very happy with that. Hope that you'll update soon.
Author's Response: Sorry about the sucking you in and all. Okay, well maybe I'm not completely sorry. There is lots more story to come, hopefully I can continue to surprise you ;-)
Chapter 6: Good Cop, Bad Cop
Five Alternate Universes Where John and Elizabeth Meet. (Nominated for Best Sheppard/Weir Pre-ship/UST Fic
in the 2007 Stargate Fan Awards

Very nice. I liked 2, 3, and 5. (I was afraid that Elizabeth might just turn & leave in #5).
John is more connected with Atlantis than anyone realized. Set during The Storm, slight AU for The Storm & The Eye. Some dialogue taken directly from the script; credit to the appropriate PTB.

I like reading stories about how connected John is to Atlantis. I'd like to read further stories if you feel like writing any more.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Chapter 1: Alone in the Storm
Their pants are a total loss.

Great last line. Short short, but very good story.

A Regency era AU.
All Rodney McKay had thought he wanted was to be left alone with his theories and hypotheses. Being abducted and meeting the intriguing John Sheppard had put paid to that. Rodney understood his own desires rather better now, but society's laws and conventions opposed him and Sheppard was surely far out of his reach. Not to mention the complication of his mysterious abductor...

Hello. I didn't find your story until you were done. I'm glad that I didn't have to wait until it was finished. I enjoyed it very much. Some angst for Rodney, but ultimate happiness at the end (I do wish that Kavanaugh would have had his comeuppance and some deserved suffering). Happy for the boys though! Thanks for doing.
Author's Response: Oh good, I'm glad you liked it, thank you. I did want Kavanagh to get some payback, but I couldn't fit it in - so I choose to believe that Daniel arranges some later.

A good tease. Are you going to write the epic to go with it?

I love AUs in general & I really love this one. I was going to say that the delightfully embarrassing scenes were my favorites (Rodney being shot down in bar, running & screaming after John while half-dressed, letting John know that he was surprised that was really his name in front of a general), but when I looked it over again I discovered that I loved all of the other scenes too and the way that everything flowed together. Thank you!
Author's Response: Thank you. I\'m so very glad it all worked for you. 8-)
Six interconnected drabbles about John, Rodney and sex.

Very cute. The drabbles fit together beautifully. Lovely tone.
Sequel to "The Claws That Catch", wherein Sheppard meets the new Guardian and learns that some things are hard wired, and appearances only go skin deep some of the time.... And a bonus of double Shep whumpage!

Hey, I know who Helen Reddy & Gordon Lightfoot are - guess that dates me. Love this story & the preceding one in your series. They have such a good tone (underlying optimism?) that I could read forever. I did have some fear as I was reading that you would kill off Shadow, and I'm very happy that you didn't. Shadow is an excellent character. Hope to see a lot more of him & this universe. Thanks for doing.
Author's Response: Heee - my beta reader thought I was going to kill Shadow, too. I believe her exact words (in all caps and bold) were: NO! EVIL RENEE!! I\'m not that evil. Yet. :)
Chapter 1: I: Have A Cigar
Daniel makes it to Atlantis instead of getting caught up with Vala and the Ori in S2 SGA/S9 SG-1. He and Teyla bond over trying to understand each other's cultures. (AU, Daniel/Teyla)
Updated: 11 Oct 2007; Published: 11 Oct 2007
That's sweet. They would make a nice couple. Both of them have a deep thoughtfulness (and very attractive too). Thanks for doing.
Chapter 1: Soaked In The Chill Of A Foreign Sea
It's a rainy day in the Pegasus Galaxy; good thing the mess is serving tacos. Jack/Daniel.

Wow, that summary seems so ordinary -- your story is so surprising. As I was reading you kept hitting me with these hints (the methane rain, Sheppard's injury & Rodney with the cane, Cam's guilt). I was beginning to dread what was going on with Daniel, but couldn't understand why, because it still seemed liked he was fine. Reading the ending gives me a strange feeling that I'm not used to. Very nice story, but unsettling.
Author's Response: That\'s actualy very cool; thank you!
The Watchers haven't been able to keep track of Kate Heightmeyer or her assigned Watcher since she started working for the United States government three years ago. It's like she's vanished from the face of the Earth.
(Crossover with Highlander. Kate Heightmeyer/John Sheppard; Kate Heightmeyer/Methos/John Sheppard) Contains spoilers for season four, including Doppelganger.
Updated: 20 Oct 2007; Published: 20 Oct 2007
My grasp of Highlander has mostly been formed from fanfic, but I like your crossover version very much. I like your Kate. TPTB did her character a disservice.
Author's Response: They really did, mostly to make the other characters look better. Which is really a shame. I love Kate, and we so got cheated.
Fix-it for "Sunday" with a McShep twist. Carson encourages Rodney to think about why he spends more time with Sheppard than with Katie Brown.
Updated: 21 Oct 2007; Published: 21 Oct 2007
Thanks for the fixit. I miss Carson. Nice way to get John & Rodney together.
Rodney McKay is a sentinel without a guide, but he's still the smartest man in Atlantis.

Oh Sentinel/SGA fic, yay. I haven't seen much of the Sentinel series, but have read a fair amount of fics. I like your story very much & am looking forward to the next part. When are they going to know if they're bonded? Are they bonded already? Will Sam visit Atlantis?
Tomorrow wasn't going to be 'just another day' ... but no one ever said it was going to be easy either. The back story continues with a short interlude while the boys get on the same page. (Lorne/Parrish)
Updated: 29 Dec 2007; Published: 05 Nov 2007
Yay, yay - Parrish & Lorne! Please write another section soon. I always like it when someone's expectations are overturned. Parrish sounds very cool here (& caring & comforting!).
Author's Response: Yeah, I kinda thought there was alot more to this guy too.

Oh, this is very sad. Your fic is very well written though, even though I am not a fan of Katie Brown. I have to read the sequel now, so that I don't get too depressed before going to work tomorrow.
Author's Response: Thanks for letting me know that it made you feel - it\'s good to know that the writing reached the reader on the emotional level. I hope that Rising Again made everything better for you!
A companion piece (and fixit!!) to Ashes
shaddyr. You should totally read Ashes
before you read this. First, because it's a beautiful story, and second, because this will make way more sense if you do.
Updated: 14 Nov 2007; Published: 13 Nov 2007
Thanks for writing a happy ending. (Though my heart's still a little sad from reading Sahddyr's story).
Author's Response: Oh, I just had to fix it - I couldn\'t leave the boys all sad without each other!! Glad you liked it. :) cep xxx
