wow. This is really intriguing. Poor poor poor Carson. Horrible to have your deepest fears realised. Hope they find him soon.
Rodney's not dead...it's all part of the hallucination?
Author's Response: Rodney's not dead...it's all part of the hallucination?
Actually, it is. But it makes me happy that I had you wonder :)
This keeps getting better and better. I like that you have Carson realising whats going on yet is still swept along with the boy.
Arh crap. So it is Sheppards nightmare....Hurry and and save him people. Teyla's description of the darkness should have spurred you on...
A wonderful exploration of Sheppard and Carson. :D
Author's Response: Thank you loads for the kind and detailed feedback!! Comments like yours truly make my day :)

Oh continue please. This is very sad and very interesting.

Kolya is back and causes serious trouble to our heroes

Ha I think he'll descend too. Where and when is the question though. Nice chapter. So sad. Where's Teyla?
Author's Response: Hi angw, thank you very much for your feedback :-)
There are many dangerous curves in life, drive too slow- and you're out of the race. Too fast, and you crash. Angles are impossible to pass. Angels tread there, and kiss the weary for a good night.

I have read and reviewed this somewhere else but I can't resist reviewing again. This is so sad but the little moments with the other team members and the snarky banter temper it. The ending is beautifully written.
They may not have tried to hurt him intentionally, but their actions could not have cut deeper than by confirming his suspicions - he was tolerated because of the things he could do, but he had no real friends on Atlantis. When it had come time to prove otherwise, Rodney had stood alone against Greenwall.

How will they all take it???
Author's Response: You'll have to wait and see!
An abandoned Ancient outpost holds a dangerous enemy. Set somewhere in Season 1 before the Siege. Various minor spoilers for anything up to then.
FYI this plot bunny was spawned by a combination of Ghost by SlayersGrl (archived on Wraithbait and maybe somewhere else too) and some other stuff I won't mention yet as it would give away the plot. Thanks to pennydreadful for the beta stuff.

*claps* Exciting stuff. Oh it already has speculating about the chair and what the hell is going on. I am looking forward to seeing how far off base I am. Bring on the next chapter!!!
Author's Response: Thanks a lot for the review. Glad the start has you interested and speculating. Will post more in a couple of weeks (mid July ish).
Chapter 1: Part 1 - The Chair
Rodney finds things aren't as they seem, or are they? Rated PG for language. Thanks muchly to Ellex for the beta! Set in season one. Complete with six chapters.
Characters are not mine. But the interpretation is. :)

I was in a bit of a quandry. It really didn't seem like Sheppard - I thought that it was either a dream sequence by McKay or that Sheppard was under the influence of something. But now having read the last part I'd still like to think Rodney was dreaming but mmm I reserve my judgement for the next chapter. This is so good. I'm glad the next chapter has been posted...
Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable fic. I liked the way you explored the fears and their resolution. The title was great.
Miko remembered all of it for everyone, even if she didn't tell them so.

I love Garden of Edith and this story has me hooked to. Woo hoo 4 more chapters to read...
Poor Miko. She is going to need some serious therapy after this. I have this horrible thought that Rodney won't remember he is the 13th and she will also forget.
Absolutely fantastic. I really liked this coming from mostly Miko's POV. The futility of the catch 22 situation they are both caught in and the exploration of the mentals stresses she had to go through are detailed well. To kill someone and then relive it for amost 2 days later - that is extreme torture. The ending isn't flowery but poignant and so completes this fic. Thanks and I look forward to another story.
(A series of short stories involving the guys. Each chapter is a complete story on its own.)
The team runs into a 'little trouble' while off world.

Ahhhh, the beginning of a snarky relationship :)
Hehehe I'm interested to know what the 'typical' response from Rodney was all about. Had to chuckle at Elizabeth's reaction to their argument.
Looking forward to more :))
Chapter 3: Shut Up and Fly
Set Season 3, future fic as it's set after The Return Pt 2, which I haven't seen. Rodney takes a trip down memory lane. It's not fun, and he's not alone. Rodney angst galore! Oh, and Sam Carter is in it.

Awwwh poor Rodney. A good look at the snippets of his younger life - the good and the very very bad. The reviews were just as emotional. Cheers.
Author's Response: Glad you liked it - I do like to put Rodney through it, evil fan that I am! Thanks.
Chapter 6: Chapter Six – There’s no place like home…
There's something in Rodney's past that he doesn't want to talk about. Chapter 1 starts after 'McKay and Mrs Miller', there will be spoilers also for 'Phantoms' and 'The Return' (part 1) in later chapters.

I liked the concept and healing that Rodney got from this. Family is often hard to talk about.
Author's Response: I keep getting ideas for his past! Glad you liked it.
Chapter 4: Chapter Four – Family
