If you're interested, I write gen and slash stories. Some are humorous, some are serious, some are sexy, kinky, smarmy, angsty, silly, scary, and sometimes just nice.
Someday I'll probably write het as well, but that day is not today.
I love Rodney McKay, and it shows in my work. I also love the dynamic between McKay and Sheppard, so I tend to focus on those two, but other characters do come to the front from time to time.
I hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.
Summary: In 2016, John Sheppard watched Atlantis sink beneath the ocean forever. He planned on preventing that from happening, at any cost.

I like this story a lot, and I'm eager to see where it's going. But I wanted to let you know that putting citric acid in Rodney's coffee wouldn't do anything. That isn't the substance in citrus fruits that causes an allergic reaction - it's salicylates.
Author's Response: I'm glad you like the story. After reading your comment, I did a little research on citrus allergies and talked to my roommate the nutritionist. Salicylates are the most common trigger, but citric acid can set it off as well. Since we have yet to see Rodney go into an allergic reaction in cannon, I'm going to run with this. Thanks for the info though. I'll know for next time!
Chapter 4: Though I'm closer to wrong, I'm no further from right.
Summary: After the death of Daniel Jackson, Rodney McKay learns he must move on with his life. In the course of several years he will find love in many places with the most amazing people and maybe he'll find that it's his love that holds them all together...

This is really interesting, and I'm very glad I decided to give it a try. I'm eager to see where you take the story.
Summary: If anybody was to make sure that this man would stay safe and sound, it would have to be John, if only for the reason that everybody else would kill the overconfident son of a bitch within the first five minutes.

"Sith Lord of all geeks" LOL! I'm glad this was rejected from the zine...that means I get to read it now!
Author's Response: huh. their loss, your gain? why, thank you! :)
Chapter 1: 1/4 - Prologue
Summary: Sheppard's team is gone, but not forgotten.

This is a great story. Leaving the ending open makes it the whole thing so much more poignant...and frustrating! I love the way you've portrayed each character: through the eyes of those around them.
Author's Response: It was written during the hiatus between Lost Boys and The Hive, so while I knew that everyone was coming home, the means were then unclear, so it seemed best. I'm glad it stands up months down the line.
Summary: There were three things I didn't do well. People, kids and death. (told from Rodney's POV).
Updated: 22 Mar 2006; Published: 22 Mar 2006
Oh...that was so sad. *cries* And so beautiful.
Author's Response: Thank you, Ellex. I'm always thrilled to see you like a fic of mine!
Summary: A missing scene from Duet. Cadman does a little exploring in the shower after a conversation with Beckett.
Updated: 24 Mar 2006; Published: 24 Mar 2006
Oh, wow...that was incredible. Truly amazing. Thank you for writing what I've been wanting to read.
Author's Response: Now that is wonderful praise indeed. Thank you!
Chapter 1: The Shower Scene
Summary: McKay finds himself trapped in an alternate reality, where his alternate self is dead. Can he commit to feelings for Weir he never even knew he had?
Updated: 11 Apr 2006; Published: 26 Mar 2006
I'm not generally much of a ship fan, but your summary intrigued me, so I gave this a try. I'm so glad I did! I really enjoyed the first two chapters, and I'm eager for more.
Author's Response: Normally, neither am I. The potential of the pairing hooked me into writing it...alas, as always. Thanks!
Chapter 2: Doubt and Belief
Summary: SGA deals with a natural, and unavoidable, threat. Those sqeamish about bugs should be warned. HUGE thanks to Sheppardster for a late beta.
Updated: 17 Apr 2006; Published: 15 Apr 2006
Um...Kam, honey? I might not read any more of this story, which is no reflection on you or your wonderful writing. It's just that I am very nearly phobic about bugs, and you've described these ones so vividly that my skin is crawling...
Author's Response: LOL! Well, I know some people get pretty phobic about bugs, hence the warning. I won't be offended. :) But hey, looks like I hit the mood right, so that's a good thing!
Summary: Carson knew that he'd break Rodney from the moment he'd seen the fading cross-hatch of scars high up on Rodney's left thigh. (Dark-fic - please read the Author's Notes before reading the fic)
Updated: 15 May 2006; Published: 04 May 2006
Ooooh...this evil!Carson is strangely enticing. The story made me shiver - and now I desperately want more. I love that Rodney was able to stop Carson in the midst of both their orgasms. And who left the new bite mark on Rodney's ass? What happened that he was able to defy Carson?
Summary: They may not have tried to hurt him intentionally, but their actions could not have cut deeper than by confirming his suspicions - he was tolerated because of the things he could do, but he had no real friends on Atlantis. When it had come time to prove otherwise, Rodney had stood alone against Greenwall.

I'm really enjoying this story - it's suspenseful and intriguing and you've created a very believable evil OC. I'm eager to read more.
I enjoyed this story a great deal - I'm sorry it's done. I would have liked to see more conflict between Rodney and Greenwall.
As to naming the kittens, I wasn't sure if you were being deliberately cute or if it was an honest mistake, but the names Sheppard suggests should be spelled "Jeckyll and Hyde" and "Sonny and Cher".
My suggestion is Castor and Pollux - there are a pair of stars in named this, after the brothers in Greek mythology.
Author's Response: LOL, yeah, I wasn't trying to be cute, that was just ignorance. But have no fear, I have made the corrections! Thanks for letting me know and your name suggestions are great!
Summary: I hear the question with every breath I take. The question they asked Rodney over and over as I lay dying before his eyes.
Updated: 14 May 2006; Published: 14 May 2006
I love the line "My smile belongs on another man's face."
Author's Response: Oh thanks! I liked the idea that the poison would have given John a physical reminder of Rodney every time he saw himself. I'm glad you agree.
Summary: Ronon/Teyla PWP for the kink/cliche challenge. Involves girl-on-guy fisting. Oh yes.
Updated: 16 May 2006; Published: 16 May 2006
Oh...my. Hit my kink square on the head, why don't you? I love the idea of a submissive Ronon, who wants to be tied but stays still even when he isn't. Just...wow.
Summary: McKay finds his hands-and his mind-full when he encounters Mainland colleagues while on a simple repair call to their base camp.
Updated: 24 May 2006; Published: 24 May 2006
Strange and interesting story. I look forward to seeing what else you come up with!
Summary: "We're friends, and I missed you. Why can't I hold your
hand?"
Updated: 01 Jun 2006; Published: 01 Jun 2006
I read this late last night, when I wasn't really coherent enough to say more than "ooh, shiny". So I reread it this morning, and still feel all "ooh, shiny" about it. I love how Sheppard is completely oblivious of any concept that hugging and touching his friends and the people he loves would be inappropriate. I would love to see Flanigan get to play this kind of innocence.
Summary: Rodney McKay meets international playboy Johnnie Sheppard on a cruise to the French Riviera. Written for Reel_SGA challenge.

I have to admit, I had my doubts about a McShep AU based on 'An Affair to Remember'. But I'm so glad I tried the story anyways, because it was marvelous. You did a fabulous job on this story.
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I'm so happy you liked it.
This is the *third* time I've read this story, so I'd better say something, huh? I love it. One of these days I'll have to see the film you based it on, although I'm sure it won't be nearly as wonderful as your version.
Author's Response: Thanks so much.
The film is a little dated, with no sex, but I always loved it. You might enjoy it.
Cheers
Summary: Sheppard and McKay are condemned to a brutal prison as murderers. As things go from bad to worse, McKay realizes how far he'll go to keep Sheppard alive.
Updated: 29 Jun 2007; Published: 26 Jun 2006
Oh, wow. Killing him with kindness...this story is just heart-breaking. I'm really glad to see you continuing it. The Beckett/Caldwell scenes are surprising believable despite the unusual pairing. I'm looking forward to more.
Author's Response: I think I was the first to write Carson and Stephen as a couple. I think Carson could melt anyone's heart. Temal? who knows whats going on in his mind.
Summary: A comic-book version of "Being Brave" by Leah.
Updated: 31 Oct 2007; Published: 28 Jun 2006
I wanted to leave this review specifically on page 5 so that I could point to the narrow-eyed pic of McKay and say "there - that's Rodney". But the whole thing is damn cool, too.
Author's Response: Thanks!
Actually, Leah doesn't know that (yet), but that page #5 was the first attempt at Ropdney and I was nervous as Hell about the outcome...
I'll try to update soon.
Summary: Carson deals with a minor irritation while others watch and learn.

LOL, very cute. Don't mess with the man who has the needles!
