“Maybe he and Sheppard would have been friends...” I liked that one. I think brain does work that way. Caught myself many times on thinking is such manner - thoughts that are not supposed to be there are there anyway.
Carson waits for the Wraith. Orgininally written for the sga_community's "blood" challenge.

I like the feel of this story - lightheadedness, like after a huge blood loss... and I like your Carson too. Thank you.
Author's Response: Carson is a fun character. I don't write him nearly often enough. Thanks!
Summary: Fight or flight. She looked to the window, illuminated in a sudden violent burst of missiles and shots, colouring the sea below in the vibrant shades of the rainbow. It was beautiful, in its own way.

Thank you. It was a genuine pleasure.

Wanted to ask you for a long time - how do you think what Dr. Janet Fraiser would do with the 'order' to experiment upon a prisoner of war?
Author's Response: Hmm. Good question. I think she'd disobey the order. Remember her reaction to Hammond's order to turn over Apophis.
'Disobey' is a very soft way to put it... At least Apophis had innocent human host involved into the situation. Remember how she said: "All three of them in poor shape"? About Teal'c, Master Bratac, and Teal'c's symbiont? Giving poor ole Jack the creeps? I think she would dismember the entire gang, starting from Weir and all the way down to sweet Carson. Back during the events of 'Poisoning the Well'. So it would be no one left to experiment upon the poor bastard they called Michael. Carson is not military, he doesn't have to follow orders (that sort of orders, I mean). There's nothing in the world can make a doctor behave like Nazi, unless that doctor wants to.
Author's Response: Good point. Carson certainly bears the responsibility for his own actions. But the rest of the gang's hands aren't clean, either.
Agree. The gang certainly gives me the creeps. But none of them would dear to ask Janet to step over the Oath. But they didn't seem to have any difficulties with Carson.
Author's Response: Umm... she's a wee bit more scary than Carson some of the time. Napoleonic powermonger and all that... :-)
Of course she is more scary, and more pushy, and more determined, and more... All of that are side-effects of being much stronger, larger person. But I never saw her thinking (not even doing, thinking) the way Carson does. Bottom line is - I know where I stand with her, and I never sure what a crazy leap our sweet friend Carson will perform next moment. Generally I follow his progress with 'Wha..?' expression on my face. All right, Weir is incompetent, Mr. Sheppard is SOB (or AH, as Lavvyan puts it), I can live with that. But damn it! Carson is a Doctor!
He's surprised he's not already dead. Or maybe he is dead. Maybe Rodney's little pockets of universes and multi-verses, which he talks about with such glee, all hold the ashes of a John Sheppard that didn't even make it this far.
Spoils season one.

I dislike Sheppard a lot, but even I felt pity for him in this story. Great, great story. And the title certainly rings the bell.

I wish Jack (original or clone) would go to Atlantis and straiten things there a bit! And do they sell those T-shirts anywhere, I wander?
Author's Response: If you have read the other clone 'verse stories, you see that your wish has been granted.
Chapter 1: And All I got... 1
How did he reacted? I mean, Jack?
Author's Response: He spluttered :-) especially when the other women started wearing them too.
Chapter 2: And All I got... 2
I wrote this one as a challenge to myself because I'm beginning to think I can no longer write short fics. So my answer to that was to kill off a character.
Not so sure what that says about my *own* character!

Thank you - it was truly good. I think, with your permission of course, I'm going to use the phrase 'No amount of Ancient tech could make up for the presence of Weir and the others' as an epigraph for one of my fics.

Very cool, thank you! 'A plague on both your houses' yah, he would say just that. By the way - I been given to understand that exist the story in which Sheppard turned into the penguin - can’t find the bloody thing! Did you ever ran into it?
Chapter 1: Suspect the Penguin
Let's just say I go for all points of view. This one just happens to belong to a Wraith.

Thank you. Humans definitely no better then us - they destroy every living thing in the worlds they inhabit. Their very lives depend on killing other beings - just like ours. Why their lives should be priced higher than lives of the trees, of bugs, or us?

You know, your mini-Jack scares the hell out of me... Jack speaking Latin? Ye, Gods... I kind of feel more comfortable with the old dumb bugger...
Question: how do you know that E. Europeans have the ability 'to connect with the old and the legendary'? Did you ever see one?
Author's Response: Jack (and therefore mini-Jack) speaks and understands both latin and ancient due to the timeloop he got stuck in with Teal'c.
I'm half Iranian. my personal experience is that east europeans understand our culture better than west eurapeans (like the english) or americans. funnt enough, schotts and Irish people settle here rather well too.
