Oh, I just adored this story. I added it to my favourites because it touched me so deeply. I could feel Rodney's pain as he realised that it had been a dream. It's obvious from John's reactions and the little snippets of the things he said at Rodney's bedside, that he feels something for Rodney. In my mind this fic continues with Rodney slowly starting to realise that John might not be so unreachable after all. :o) Thank you for the lovely story.

I've read both stories and I just had to let you know just how much I love them. The way you managed to write two lovestories that are the same in many ways, but still quite different is amazing. My heart went out to Robert and Michael who just wanted to be together, but who just happened to live in a time when being gay was not accepted. I love how John and Rodney's visit finally brought them some peace. It's almost as if they were waiting for something to show them that they had made the right choice in life. And John and Rodney confirmed that. John and Rodney's side of this story is very touching too. They're both very much in character and the way they finally find each other is heartbreakingly beautiful. Thank you for writing this. I'm bookmarking because I'll want to read this story over and over again. :o)
Author's Response: Thank you :-)I am so pleased you enjoyed this story. Certainly, you seemed to pick up on all the things I had hoped to portray in the story. I felt John and Rodney needed just a little push to become more than friends. Seeing the possibility of a lifetime of happiness (through Robert and Michael's relationship) was enough to set them on the right path.
