My favorite pairing is John/Elizabeth, but I do have a few little secret kink pairings that I enjoy: Jack/Elizabeth, Ronon/Elizabeth, John/Elizabeth/Lorne. I also enjoy Rodney/Teyla and a little Beckett/Cadman.
vampire AU. The gauntlet's been thrown...

*drools* Oh wow... This is an excellent AU! Outstanding description! You should consider expanding this, perhaps going into the details of how Detective!John and Vampire!Elizabeth came to this point, and perhaps even the war that is now at their doorstep. Awesome stuff!
Author's Response: Thank you!!!! I honestly have considered expanding it a few times, just haven't gotten around to it but I *LOVE* Vampire genre and the fact Torri's played one just makes it irresistible. At some point I am so going back to this one. Thank you for commenting on it!
During a training mission for the new personnel, someone tries to kill Sheppard. Warnings for language and violence.

*jaw hits the floor* What the... Ronon's found the gun, NOW what's he doing?! *blinks rapidly*
Excellent job! I really don't blame Teyla for taking a few potshots at the bastard. *growls* I certainly wouldn't have restrained myself! But then Rodney decided to get involved! Hah! That so had me cracking up! Not to mention Mawyer's pictures! *giggles* Great chapter! :)
Author's Response: Hi! Thanks! Ronon's getting naked! I don't blame Teyla either. McKay has got skills now, so he decided to leap in to help out. Yeap, Mawyer is a little obsessed with out scientist. LOL. Thanks for the review! I appreciate it. JJ

I've finally decided to get off my lazy behind and review, something I should have done from the beginning. *blush* This story has been so much fun to read and this latest chapter finally lit a fire under me to actually come out and say it. I personally don't think Elizabeth is thinking with perfect clarity at this point, but I also don't think Atene is trustworthy. Oy. What a situation: two men who are blind to the AI's possibly true evilness, a woman who sees it and it's driving her further and further away from them and over the edge because she's having a damned time proving it. I think at one point, John or Rodney observed that while their breakdowns had been swift and quick, Elizabeth's was happening slowly as she is crushed beneath the weight of her own guilt. Er... something like that, anyway. Could this possibly be it? Could Elizabeth finally be cracking? *wibbles* Poor Elizabeth. And just how far is she willing to go to destroy Atene and stop her from doing more harm to everyone/thing. And then again, none of them are exactly poster people for perfect mental health. Well, you've both done an excellent job with this fic! I love waking up every morning and getting on the computer to find a new chapter posted! :) Again, outstanding work! :D
Author's Response: You've pointed out many of the themes we were working with for this. Elizabeth's suppression of her feelings makes them worse while at the same time encouraging the other two to not see she needs them. By the time they think to offer her any sort of comfort, they're already involved, it isn't enough for her, and they're blinded. And she breaks under the weight. As you said, none of them are poster children for mental health, but John and Rodney get it out and Elizabeth internalizes it. I love getting a review like yours, and it actually counts for more since you've read along through so much of the story at this point. - Auburn
Chapter 27: 27/36 - Lachesis
*closes eyes and wipes away tears* Well, it's done. Atene's been dealt with, as she had to be. But the price... I don't know if I could have been strong enough to pay it. Now John's the only one left and there's still 7 chapters to go. Will he be found by the Expedition, perhaps preventing them from going anywhere near Doranda. Will it fall to him to tell their story of what they all went through. Will he ever be able to understand truly why Elizabeth did it? Why she had to? *shivers* These past two chapters were just... amazing, you two. Wow. Excellent work. :)
Chapter 29: 29/36 - Lachesis
Smlot anyone? (that's smut with a bit'o plot). Sparky for the most part...but not all.

*grins* Adorable! Loved the entire story! Excellent job!
Since the team is injured so often, Carson wants to teach them first aid skills. It's a good idea... in theory.

Bates didn't like Major John Sheppard in any way, shape or form, but that didn't matter after the storm. (Set after The Storm/The Eye)

Wow. Great ficlet! You did really well in capturing Bates' inflections and possible thought processes during that first year. Awesome job!
Chapter 1: Calm After The Storm
I observe the Atlanteans, study their behavior, and I cannot help but note how foolish they truly are.

Oh wow. This just... wow! This is outstanding. It really puts my feelings about the Ancients into words. I admit, I used to really venerate the Ancients like the others do, but ever since the whole Ori storyline came into being and we saw what the Others did in The Pegasus Project, my respect for them has just trickled down the drain. Excellent work! I also loved how it was Hermiod who saw this. I wonder if this is the opinion of all the Asgard, such as Thor, or if this is more his own personal opinion...
Author's Response: Thank you. I have been a bit skeptical about them since the fifth season of Stargate. The whole Orlin angle made me really start to wonder. Also, I would have to say that most Asgard view the situation this way. I don't think Hermiod is alone in his opinion.

Sweet! Lovely view of Team Sheppard from the view of an outsider, and Lorne to boot! Great work! :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.
