Mrs. Roboto sits around doing nothing but reading Mckay/Sheppard slash when she should be studding for her Japanese test. Her dislikes are Japanese tests, Sheppard/Ford slash, and anything to do with Weir at all, really. She likes Mckay/Sheppard slash, Firefly crossovers, and talking about herself in 3rd person.
NOTE: Future fic will not be published here, but on Mrs. Roboto's Fanfiction.net site. Please go there for more fic :D
awww, this was sweet. I normaly don't like AUs, but Rodney in a modern poetry class just tickles me pink ^_^
Author's Response: The thought of Rodney tolerating a professor droning on and on about Eliot and Pound and New Criticism or whatever just makes me grin like an idiot.
Summary: Coming from McKay, the silence was frightening and when it broke, Ronon was willing to bet the explosion would be spectacular. SPOILER ALERT This fic contains spoilers for Season Three episodes -- Sunday in a major way and Tao of Rodney in a minor way.
wow, I really liked this. You've got the characterization perfect. I loved Ronon's protectiveness and Sheppard's confusion :)
Author's Response: Oh, I am so happy you think so! I know I am headed in the right direction when I can 'hear' them saying the lines in my head... and I managed that in this one, for the most part. I'm pleased that you enjoyed it. Thanks for letting me know!
Summary: Rodney looked back and forth between John and the man on the doorstep. A slow sinking feeling started in the pit of his stomach as he began to realize why the ears had seemed familiar. And the hair, now that he thought about it.
Summary: It was Rodney's nature to be repellent. It was the Pegasus Galaxy's nature to take it to the next level. It took volcanoes, Wraith, genetic experiments and Genii to show Rodney that not everyone sees him the same way.
Summary: "Maybe it's just regular, good old fashioned burnout," John suggested, although he knew in his heart he was clutching at straws. "Maybe all you need is a vacation."
"'Maybe all you need is a vacation'," Rodney parroted. "Please. I'm not stupid, you know." Then he looked stricken. "I'm not stupid yet."
Summary: This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS! It's hard to overstate my satisfaction. (Or, in which John turns on something unexpected. Vaguely John/Atlantis)
Summary: Drowning had never been a fear Rodney needed to embrace. Trust, relying on others, and having to betray his own secrets, however, was something that kept him awake at night. Friendship, whump, genetic manipulation, homicidal tree huggers...
Summary: An Atlantis that is tipped slightly to the left of what we're used to. Hurt crazy!Rodney attempts to deal with his enviroment. He knew this, knew he hurt, but for the life of him he couldn't hold onto why. It was slippery and wiggling in his hands, like the fish he had pulled out of his sister's fishbowl once.
